Who are we?

Impact Investing Group (IIG) is the premiere student-led growth equity organization at the University of Michigan, focused on the intersection of finance, consulting, & impact. We drive positive impact in Michigan, partnering with a diverse range of businesses to deliver loans & growth-centric consulting solutions. Our members come from various backgrounds and carry different passions, but share a common interest in problem-solving, creative-thinking, and impact— something we take pride in.

Financial services are one of the most powerful tools to reduce poverty and enable economic growth.

However, access to these services in the U.S. remains a challenge.

How We’re Solving It

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and student-led organization at the University of Michigan providing financial & consulting services to local Ann Arbor and Detroit micro-businesses to empower entrepreneurs, aid in community revitalization, and foster inclusive and sustainable financing.
